Katherine Dang

Since receiving her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1970, Katherine Dang has been involved in alternative elementary and secondary classroom education, as well as in the training of teachers regarding the aims, content and methods proper to the administration and advancement of individual and national liberty.

 

After retiring from private education in 1995, Miss Dang dedicated herself to writing and compiling a four-volume work on Universal History from the beginning of recorded history to the present – the first two volumes published in 2000 and 2004, respectively. 

As Founder and President of the Philomath Foundation, a non-profit religious and educational organization, Katherine Dang serves the needs of parents and schools throughout the United States and internationally. Her main academic emphasis and themes comprise principles that teach men and nations the path to individual self-government and constitutional liberty. For the past twenty years, she has been actively speaking to and leading seminars throughout Colombia, South America, and worldwide. Cities of South Korea (2008-2011) and Namibia, Africa (2006) have invited Miss Dang to participate in and host educational conferences. In 2022, by invitation, she will conduct a series of educational seminars in the cities of both Colombia and Brazil.
